A NEW TURN
Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates its swivelling icon in a new movie starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult. Both brand ambassadors express the Butterfly effect in motion which is very true for Reverso, as swivelling the watch reveals a second expression of time.
TURN TO THE EXTRAORDINARY
Inspired by the theory of ‘The Butterfly Effect’, in which the tiniest change in nature creates an unstoppable chain-reaction, this beautifully executed film juxtaposes nature in its polar opposite forms, from droplet to cascading waterfall, and the sown seed carried on the wind, blooming into life from wooded stillness.
Anya is paired with the seductively feminine Reverso Duetto Small which features a classic side and a more distinctive side that dazzles with diamond set gadroons.
Nicholas enjoys the new Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar which preserves the legendary spirit of the original 1931 Reverso whilst incorporating the contemporary aesthetic cues of today on its verso.
In my own life, seemingly insignificant moments have led to great developments in my career. A chance meeting, or simply changing an arrangement has opened up opportunities I could never have foreseen. — NICHOLAS HOULT
THE SWIVELLING CALENDAR
The new Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar preserves the legendary spirit of the original 1931 Reverso whilst incorporating the contemporary aesthetic cues of today. The recto dial offers a classic display of the calendar unlike the verso which is resolutely contemporary.
TURNING TO A TIMELESS FEMININITY
Precious, feminine, and seductive with its pink gold and diamond finish, the Reverso Duetto Small offers its wearer two different faces provided by two back-to-back dials. The pink gold bracelet smoothly follows the curve of the wrist for the utmost sophistication.
TURNING TIME SINCE 1931
The Reverso was born from an unusual challenge made 90 years ago – to create a wristwatch that be worn during polo matches without the glass and dial being smashed. The unique swivelling concept has inspired over time our artists and watchmakers to take advantage of the second face and develop complications.
